Manchester United reportedly want to extend the contracts of defender Diogo Dalot and forward Marcus Rashford.
Both players are out of contract in less than 12 months
Diogo Dalot and Marcus Rashford, who play for Manchester United's first squad, are expected to sign long-term new contracts with the organization soon.
Nine United players, including Dalot and Rashford, have contracts that will expire in the summer of 2023 as they stand, though the team has the option to extend most of those deals by one year.
The other players with less than a year left on their contracts at United include Cristiano Ronaldo, Fred, David de Gea, and Luke Shaw. However, Dalot and Rashford have impressed the most during the first six Premier League games of the new season, and the club is now considering signing both of them to long-term contracts.
Decisions on other players who are out of contract next summer are anticipated to be made during the season, however Phil Jones' time at United is set to expire in 2023 after he was recently left out of the club's Premier League squad.
